Each year the HIFF showcases new movies and talent in a variety of events throughout the Hamptons hamlets.
The Biggest Buzz this year was made over Laird Hamilton, the subject of Rory Kennedy’s documentary “Take Every Wave.” The Film examines the wild life lived by surfer Laird Hamilton, known the world over as a big wave rider who does everything, at least in the water, in the extreme.
Journalist/Reporter Evelyn J. Mocbeichel, of the Montauk Sun, caught up with Hamilton and Kennedy at the SummerDocs presentation of the film, shown on the main deck at Gurney’s Resort in Montauk, with discussion moderated by Alec Baldwin.
